The Beat Orchestra has been busy behind the scenes applying for funds to continue providing large scale music and performances for the youth of Peterborough.

Thanks to all for your feedback on the funding applications and the direction you what the Orchestra to take so far.

We can now start planning the next steps with your involvement!

So come along on the 17th of May 1pm – 3pm at Chime studio to find out and have your say on how we run the orchestra this year. It is really important to us that the Beat Orchestra is your orchestra, playing and performing the music you compose. Without your input at this stage it will be difficult achieve this.

In the meeting you will be able to tell us:

What are your goals and aims for the group

What you would like to do (what music, recording, performances etc)

How we are going to do it (how many sessions, when and where, the help you need)

Any ideas to improve the sessions, get more funds, find more performance’s to take part in

We will play some music too!

Meeting Date & Time: Saturday the 17th of May @ 1pm – 3pm

Place: Chime community Studio, 27 Norfolk street, Peterborough, PE1 2NP  (bus route 1, stops at top of Norfolk Street)

If you have any friends that you would like to bring to introduce them to the group then please invite them too.

Thanks and hope to see you all on the 17th.
