Peterborough’s Young Beatbox Band “Volalize” recently performed at the Business In The Community Awards Ceremony.  Beat This CIC were chosen as the Peterborough Charitable Organisation of the year to receive  a special award for services to the community.

The Vocalize Crew are Peterborough’s young Beatbox group that have been learning how to Beatbox perform with the help of Beat This mentor’s Skilly Skillz and Lee Ashton.  Only after 14 weeks have they come this far, performing in front of hundreds of people.

“We are so proud of the young people involved in the Vocalize group, they have come so far in so little time”

The Vocalize project was initially funded by the High Sheriff and Cross Keys Homes as a project to help young people that are living in sheltered housing or who are young carers.
